Now that it's winter, most people like to stay indoors to keep warm. However, there are many fun winter activities that you can do in Easton, PA, especially when it snows. Though you may need to take a little trip to do some of these activities, they can cure your winter boredom:

Build a snowman

This is a well-loved activity for families for a reason. All you'll need to do to prep for it is grab several household items (a hat, scarf, and carrot), and you've got what it takes to build a cool snowman! It's a fun way to get your kids out of the house and use their creative minds.

Have a snowball fight

This is also a fun, entertaining activity with large groups. It can be as simple as tossing snowballs at each other, or it can be as complex as you make it. You can make forts, create rules, and implement a strategy to win.

Go tubing or sledding

With snow on the ground, you should benefit from the hills and slopes around your town. This activity is also offered at select ski resorts. Sledding and tubing are activities that require little to no skill and are exciting for both the young and the old.

Go ice skating

Ice skating can be a magical experience, and it's a great activity for couples. You can skate for free at a nearby lake or pond, or you can pay to skate at a rink nearby. If you plan to do the first, make sure you have a good pair of skates.

Go skiing or snowboarding

Skiing and snowboarding are two popular winter sports, and it is offered at every winter resort. Get your heart racing by going down steep slopes. Here are some of our local recommendations: Blue Mountain Resort, Shawnee Mountain Ski, and Bear Creek Ski.

We want to remind you that you should winterize your car before heading out to do these fun winter activities. The last thing you want to be dealing with on a snowy day is a broken-down car. We invite you to Jeff's Automotive, Inc. for a winter check-up today.

Filters are easy to forget because they do their work quietly. You do not see them cleaning the air, fuel, or oil while you drive. You only notice them when the car starts smelling musty, losing power, using more fuel, or acting like it has not been serviced in too long.

Pennsylvania state inspections and emissions testing can feel stressful when you are not sure what the shop is looking for. Your car might drive fine around town, start every morning, and still have a problem that keeps it from passing. That is what catches many drivers off guard.

A cold A/C vent feels simple when everything is working. You press a button, set the temperature, and expect cool air to show up. Behind that, the system is moving heat out of the cabin instead of creating cold air from nothing.
