Pennsylvania’s nature is as rich as its history. In this article, we’ll go through the best places for all of you outdoor and paddling maniacs to attend on your next road adventure in our lovely “The Keystone State”!

  • The Delaware River: Besides being one of the most iconic rivers of the USA, the Delaware River is great for kayaking! The biodiversity and stunning landscapes can seem like a dream come true for any canoeist, novice, or pro!
  • Otter Lake Camp Resort: This resort truly captures the contrast between the natural and the modern! If you are a passionate canoeist, you can enjoy the 60-acre lake, BUT if you are more modern, you can practice archery, tennis, basketball, and even attend a splash park and a game room!
  • Ricketts Glen State Park: If you missed the camping season, don’t worry! We got you covered! Ricketts Glen State Park allows you to enjoy all the traditional (and even some non-traditional) outdoor activities year-round! Oh, and did we mention that it also has 22 waterfalls? No? Well, it has 22 WATERFALLS! If you are tired of crowded campsites, don’t worry! The park offers five deluxe cottages, ten modern cabins, and over 100 tent and trailer campsites!
  • Hickory Run State Park: This park is a hiking paradise! With over 40 miles of hiking trails, anybody from a beginner to a veteran can enjoy the experience! Remember when we said that Ricketts has over 100 tent and trailer campsites? Well, Hickory has 300! The only drawback is the active bear population, which, well, likes to steal your food.

Filters are easy to forget because they do their work quietly. You do not see them cleaning the air, fuel, or oil while you drive. You only notice them when the car starts smelling musty, losing power, using more fuel, or acting like it has not been serviced in too long.

Pennsylvania state inspections and emissions testing can feel stressful when you are not sure what the shop is looking for. Your car might drive fine around town, start every morning, and still have a problem that keeps it from passing. That is what catches many drivers off guard.

A cold A/C vent feels simple when everything is working. You press a button, set the temperature, and expect cool air to show up. Behind that, the system is moving heat out of the cabin instead of creating cold air from nothing.
