And our beloved state of Pennsylvania happens to have some of the most breathtaking fall foliage in the US! Here are the top 3 places to visit within a 2-hour drive from Easton to see the fall colors in The Keystone State!

1. Ricketts Glen State Park - If you are a fan of waterfalls, Ricketts Glen State Park is the best place to visit (especially during Autumn)! Besides the incredible, diverse color of the leaves, the park is also free from crowds, especially during the week! If you have the time, you can also hike alongside the Falls Trail and check out all the 23 named waterfalls of the park, whose beauty is only exacerbated by the colors of the fall season!

2. Jim Thorpe - Famous for hosting Fall Foliage Weekends the first three weekends of October, this small town is probably the best-populated area to attend in Autumn! And the town isn’t even the cherry on top! The nearby Lehigh Gorge State Park’s forests are incredible, and the park can genuinely awaken the pioneer spirit in you with its hiking areas.

3. Bowman’s Hill Tower - Located along the famous Delaware River, the hilltop’s view is incredible in Autumn. If you look closely, the colors of the leaves there resemble the mane of a lion! The woods around the hill tower provide an amazing place for enthusiasts and observers alike during the peak of the Fall season.
