Jeff’s Auto Repair is pleased to announce that we offer Hybrid vehicle services and repairs to the communities of Easton, PA, Bethlehem, PA, Nazareth, PA, and surrounding areas.   1. Practice Smart Driving Habits - This may be common sense, but to maximize your efficiency, we recommend maintaining a consistent speed as much as possible. That may mean relying on gasoline to get your engine up to speed and then switching to cruise control to let your electric motor do the rest. It’ll put less strain on your hybrid vehicle’s components. You’ll also save money on gas in the process, which is always a plus.
  2. Be Careful With How You Use Your Accessories - Using too much power all at once can drain your hybrid’s battery quicker, so we recommend using them in moderation. Some examples of electrical-powered accessories include your radio, GPS, A/C, charging ports, power windows, etc. 
  3. Take Care of the Battery - One of the most important and distinctive parts of hybrid vehicles is their battery. When it comes to charging the battery, we recommend letting it drain as much as possible before recharging it to full capacity. Even though hybrid batteries don’t require changing for at least 7 years, they still require maintenance. We recommend inspecting and testing your battery seasonally to stay up to date on its condition.
